OVERVIEW
Our teacher training is recognized and endorsed by Yoga Alliance, that means that our training has extremely high standards. It includes; the 26 & 2 original hot yoga postures & breathing exercises plus pose modifications/variations, philosophy of yoga, anatomy, posture clinics, meditation, ethics of teaching, business of teaching, teaching skills, voice technique, yogic lifestyle, practice.
You will learn to help the needs of different student populations, adjust your sequence for different class lengths and difficulties.
Our team of asana and anatomy experts will provide you with the tools to effectively deliver a precise, informative, and therapeutic class.
Yogafreak® is a Registered Yoga School (RYS) with Yoga Alliance, the largest international registry for yoga schools and teachers. Upon successful completion of our program you will receive a certificate from yogafreak®. You will be certified to teach yoga at the foundational level. You will qualify to register for your 200 hour RYT status through Yoga Alliance.

I have been practicing the Bikram series for 15 years and teaching it for a decade. In 2013 I left my corporate job, went to LA to spend 9 weeks with Bikram, and I never looked back. I spent years teaching full time in New York City, participated in competitive asana training, and practiced through three pregnancies. In 2020 I completed my 200hr RYT vinyasa training with Jared McCann through Lighthouse Yoga School, and spent the following 2 years in sadhana intensives. My yoga journey has taken me all over the world and introduced me to lifelong friends.

I took my first yoga class in 2001 and have maintained a consistent practice since.
In 2004, I attended my first teacher training and was certified in Original Hot Yoga. I am also certified in Vinyasa, Yin, Meditation/Nidra and have attended countless continuing education courses over the years.
My teaching mirrors my approach to life - precision brings clarity, and clarity invokes fluidity. I believe our ability to be fluid is essential, so we do not become stuck in any one way of thinking, living or moving.
