This 26 & 2 asana training is for teachers and dedicated yogis who want to deepen their understanding of the 26 & 2 sequence—or take the first step toward teaching. Whether you’re looking to move beyond the Bikram dialogue or explore leading classes, this immersive program will refine your delivery and build your confidence.
A core focus of the training is developing your teaching voice through public speaking. You’ll practice clear cueing, leading postures, and speaking to a group—with real-time feedback from experienced teachers to help you grow into the kind of teacher students are inspired to follow.
Please note: this training is dedicated exclusively to the postures (asanas). It does not include history, philosophy, or other areas of study outside the physical practice.
Includes a 50-hour continuing education certificate eligible for Yoga Alliance credit.
Public speaking training with real-time, personalized feedback—focuses on using clear, precise language to cue postures, adjusting tone, pace, and volume to guide a group, and building confidence and authority in your teaching voice.
Practical work on verbal cueing—learning how to guide students smoothly into, through, and out of postures with effective, easy-to-follow language.
A clear understanding of each posture’s anatomy—what moves, how it moves, and why it matters
Posture drills and variations - activate the same muscle actions, giving you effective tools to help students at any level work toward the posture
50 hours of in-depth, interactive training (includes 5 hours of online coursework)
Some sessions will begin with a 1-hour Hot Yoga class (either 26 plus or the original 26 & 2)

This training is for teachers and committed students looking to grow. While we hope to discover new teaching talent through this program, participation does not imply or guarantee a teaching role at Yogafreak. Our focus is on supporting your development—helping you become a stronger, more confident teacher, whether that leads to teaching here, elsewhere, or simply deepens your personal practice.
